Position Summary

The ideal candidate will need to consolidate AAF Asia operating companies’ monthly financial reports and will also need to Prepare monthly management reports Profit & Loss, Working Capital, Balance Sheet and PowerPoint presentation slides. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.

Position Summary

  • Identify business opportunities and establish while maintaining long term business relationship with existing and potential customers.

Procurement Engineer

Position Summary

The ideal candidate oversees the procurement, or purchasing, of technical goods of AAF. The candidate has detailed knowledge about the product drawing, equipment, materials, and supplies used in the industry. The candidate also needs to evaluates new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them.

A day in the life of…

  • Study and understand product drawings and ensure technical specification with R&D.
  • Responsible to source material according to specification and drawing.
  • Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with technical and negotiate best pricing.
  • Understand requirement of product development from R&D & sales.
  • Source the material according to the specification & drawing provided.
  • Monitor and update the progress to meet the dateline set by management.
  • Responsible on maintain material master data in SAP for purchasing record.
  • Review the supplier’s qualification and ensure background, quality and experience meet business need for item sourced.
  • Liaise with new vendor to fill up documentation and request best package of incoterm & payment term before registration.

Purchasing Executive

Purchasing

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will responsible for purchasing products and materials for AAF. These can include manufacturing equipment, raw materials or office supplies. Job duties include assessing the market, evaluating pricing and availability, supplier relation management, and cost reduction.

A day in the life of…

  • To track and advise production planner and Customer service group delivery status for raw materials and trading goods.
  • To ensure on time arrival of material to meet master production schedule.
  • To review lead time and continue to work on lead time reduction.
  • To review raw material stock level and reduce stock turnover days to healthy level.
  • To resolve payment issues with suppliers when Finance is unable to process invoices due to mistakes or errors by suppliers when Finance is unable to process invoices due to mistakes or errors by suppliers or mismatch between invoice and PO.
  • To ensure supplier comply to Kanban quality procedure.
  • To resolve receiving issues with suppliers when Material Control/Store receives deliveries with incomplete documentation from suppliers or discrepancy between PO and invoice.
  • To establish preferred supplier list by evaluating suppliers based on selection criteria including on-time delivery, best price, MOQ, lead time and favorable terms.
  • To evaluate and improve existing and new suppliers’ performance through new vendor assessment form, the vendor score card program and ISO 9001 requirements, including quality, service and price.
  • Support company certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO14001 and work actively with improving those areas.

Research & Development Engineer

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be working closely with the team to create functional design concepts, test existing designs, and oversee the implementation of development projects. The candidates also be spearheading the redesign of existing products.

A day in the life of…

  • To Lead engineering efforts for R&D projects, which includes of designing, drafting, prototyping, testing, engineering documentation creation, and plants / business system implementation.
  • To support sales on customized design.
  • Provide technical support, including test report and drawing, to relevant department.
  • To convey technical information on customer requirement from sales to production.
  • To carry out the application of FM/UL standard on new material.
  • To verify new raw material for replacement.
  • Improve designs to achieve material and manufacturing costs saving of existing products.
  • Coordinate procurement and building of engineering models and prototypes
  • Overseeing the Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) techniques, and tolerance stack up analysis to finalize product designs.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will responsible for supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner. Job duties include monitor the production line output, analyse and take immediate action to ensure production meet daily plan output.

A day in the life of…

  • Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and solutions.
  • Identify and set process standard work procedures. Update production line process working instruction. (WI).
  • Establish safety procedures at work place. Identify hazards and carry out preventive actions to eliminate hazards and risk.
  • Train and develop multi-tasking operators with good Automation Maintenance Knowledge.
  • To work closely with QA department for the raw materials wastage & products rejection control.
  • To liaise with engineering department to ensure machine operate in optimum condition with minimum downtime.
  • To implement continuous process improvement (Kaizen) for cycle time reduction and work standardization.
  • Implement PDS (Production Daikin System) to eliminate process waste (7 Muda).
  • Improve process layout and set required headcount allocation for each work station.
  • Work with other departments for products reengineering & new products development.
  • To be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping 5S, proper teamwork and coordination between all other department in achieving the compliance the company’s Quality, Environmental & Occupational, Health & Safety Management System.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will need to ensure the warehouse operations smoothly, plans and arrange the goods segregation, to liaise for proper shipment arrangement. Responsibilities include developing plans to monitor and optimise the usage levels of storage, implementing quality programmes, and using data analytics to review efficiency of the warehouse storage and layout plans.

  • To plan and ensure warehouse operations smoothly.

  • To implement 5S activities in Warehouse and ISO requirement in Warehouse including FIFO system.
