AstroCube provides an energy-efficient solution, introducing fresh, clean air from outdoors, to help dilute high carbon dioxide concentrations while enhancing air circulation. The unit is equipped with a three stages of filtration, from G4 primary to F8 secondary and H14 HEPA filter to ensure the air remains clean. Additionally, it features a heat recovery core, which reduces heat transfer from the outdoors, further improving energy efficiency and reducing the load on air conditioning systems.

Recent studies suggest that proper ventilation, with the correct supply of fresh air in a room can help reduce the risk of SARS-Cov-2. According to  ASHRAE, “Ventilation and filtration provided by heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems can reduce the airborne concentration of SARS-CoV-2 and thus the risk of transmission through the air. Unconditioned spaces can cause thermal stress to people that may be directly life-threaten- ing and that may also lower resistance to infection. In general, disabling of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems is not a recommended measure to reduce the transmission of the virus.”
